New water heater, alternator, transmission and engine mounts, and the raw water circuit redone, then realigned and a fresh coat of paint.

In the model
Turns the drive back on itself so the engine can sit further aft with the shaft running under it.
Step 06 · Starboard side of the engine
The raw water circuit
The whole raw water side, redone. A new heat exchanger and exhaust elbows, because of all the debris from the engine sitting, and an all-bronze JMP pump in place of the old steel Sherwood.
In the model
All bronze. It replaced a Sherwood pump made of steel.
Raw water cools the engine’s coolant here. Replaced, along with the exhaust elbows, because of all the debris from the engine sitting.
Step 07 · Belt end of the engine
Balmar XT170 alternator
The big one. A high-output Balmar XT170 charges the house bank whenever the engine runs. It runs on new pulleys with a Balmar serpentine belt kit.

Step 08 · Engine space
IsoTemp water heater
In the model
750 W, 4.2 gallons, in the engine space. Heats from shore power, or from engine coolant while motoring.

Vacuum gauge on the Racor fuel filter
A vacuum gauge added to the Racor fuel filter. Now I know exactly when to change the fuel filters, instead of guessing.
